Set in the darkest recesses of the psyche, Iffy Object (2011) offers a series of performative propositions about the self’s relationship to the object of desire and the quest for recognition. 

“I can only recognize myself recognized by the other to the extent that this recognition of the other alters me: it is desire, it is what trembles in desire.” –Jean-Luc Nancy
